You are not eligible if you are;

• 65 before 1 September 2023 – you will need to wait for your 70^th birthday
• Between 66 and 69 – you will need to wait for your 70^th birthday
• Over 80 – you are no longer eligible

For pneumonia vaccination, you are eligible from your 65^th birthday and there is no upper age limit. There are some clinical conditions that may mean that you may be invited in sooner for vaccination.

For shingles vaccination, eligibility is as follows;

• Patients that have turned 65 from the 1 September 2023
• Patients that are 70 – 79  
• Severely immunocompromised patients from the age of 50
