Welcome to Coastal Medical Partnership’s Website

We have a great deal of information on here for your benefit, and we hope you find it useful. We are committed to ensuring equitable access to care, for all our patients. As a result there are three main ways to contact us:

By Going Online:

  • All requests for GP appointments can be made online via our Rapid Health system. This is now open from 8.00am to 6.30pm to align with new NHS requirements from 1st October 2025. Please Note: this is different from our previous hours of 6am - 6pm. Rapid Health will triage your request and either offer you available appointments with an appropriate clinician within the required timeframe, or send your request to our clinical team for review. Please click on the Appointments button on our home page, to access this. You might not need to fill out a form if your problem is something that other services can help with. There is a list of conditions you can check before completing a form.
  • You can also use the Rapid Health service for administration queries. Such as, referral requests, sick note requests, or changing your details.
  • Other NHS online services are available in addition to this website. Such as, the NHS App, SystmOnline or My Medical Record (for Hampshire Hospitals). They support in managing your own health and viewing your medical record. For further details please click on the Test Results button above.
  • We often send out invitations to book vaccinations straight to your mobile phone. Such as, Flu or COVID. Although you can always telephone us or walk in to your surgery if you cannot use this feature.

By Telephone:

  • You can contact us by telephone between 8am and 6.30pm. Our reception team can support you in booking non-GP appointments. Such as, nursing procedures, vaccinations or blood tests. They can also take any general queries you may have or provide test results. If you need a GP appointment but have no access to the internet or a compatible device, they can complete a Rapid Health form with you over the telephone. Please Note: Our receptionists cannot simply book a GP appointment over the telephone. This is because all requests need to be treated equally and triaged appropriately.
  • We’ve added a ‘call-back’ option to our telephone system so you don’t have to wait on the phone. You’ll get a call back from us when it’s your turn.
  • We also have an automated section on the telephone, by pressing 0 from the list of options. Here you can book your covid or flu vaccine (if invited to) or cancel any appointment at the surgery without the need to wait on the telephone.

By Walking In To Your Usual Surgery:

  • You can access our sites from 8am to 6.30pm and book non-GP appointments, or any of the other requests listed above.

Please Note: that on occasions our doors may be closed for training, or at our smaller sites (at the beginning or end of day) but access is still possible in some sites via a buzzer system or in other sites as per instructions displayed on the door.

  • In each of our waiting rooms, we have tablet screens where you can complete a Rapid Health form if you don’t have access to the internet or device at home. Please Note: If you need support from a team member in completing a form, for confidentiality reasons it may be better for you to contact us by telephone instead.
